hmm, can you build a 18? pm me price shipped for a dual 2

I been hearing people subwoofers around here and checking out stuff on the internet. in the car audio scene most of us dont like mainstream stuff because of the "pop culture" fans of car audio going with kicker, mtx, ect because they are told it is the best when there is better options. now is audioque a same kind of victim amoungst us by giving AQ a bad name sometimes because of simply their pricing?
NO AQ gets flak because of poor quality control and hit or miss on honoring warranty on broken subs.

I haven't used Z sub, but have got my hands on the softparts and they are very high quality. Z cones are good for a 5K burp, big excursion (abusive) and they'll fail at the surrounds eventually, but if you're not upgrading electrical you should never ever run them that hard unles you do something terribly wrong. Z coils AFAIK are American made and will hold 1200W thermal power forever 1500W for a good while and burp 5K well enough.

They are rated 1500rms and take that power fine I ran 2k a piece on mine for about a week straight and the coil nevr burned any. They work great on 1200-1500w

the zv2 wont handle as much power as a zv3 due to v3 has a 8layer coil. the zv2 is a great sounding spl woofer. you wont wear out the surrond on the zv2...
Guess I sorta left out that mine had the v3 recone. There was a guy that was selling recone z series with the upgraded parts for a real good price. Don't know if he still is but I believe he quoted me a little over 700 for 2 12s

The Z v.2 is our now discontinued Z line -- 4-layer coil and very strong motor... full 220mm diameter magnet slugs (9"). Very nice all around driver.

The Z v.3 is the replacement -- we stepped up to an 8-layer coil based on what customers wanted (even more thermal power handling).

was a zv3 spider only used. 300 per zv2 12 from me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
im not sure if mine had the v3 coil i know it had the soft parts though. iirc the coil was an 8 layer when i tore it down but i could be wrong. i bought mine around june this year so i dont know if the coil was even availible yet.
