Can the sundown x8 be mounted in a box right against the wood almost like .25 inches away from magnet touching wood cause I know they don't have a hyperpole I'm gonna run 3 at 1.75 cubes tuned to 34 on 2500

those subs will do very well if you want to get a high # , not so much for daily sound quality though , they are a bit peaky , the sa v3 for daily SLAM

but I would shoot for 3000 watts on 3

and 1.75 cubes net is too small

2.25 Min net

better at 3 cubes net

you can set your box up like this , port to drivers side
