So that looks like a typical high roll surround, right? Is there gonna be an ultra beefy 8" surround proportionally comparable to the 10's and 12's?

The X-8 surround is identical in profile to the Z v.3 18"

I will not have any need for such a crazy surround as the big boys on an 8" until I finish some new spider technology... currently with any coil bigger than 1.5" there just isn't enough spider to justify it on a true 8" platform (over-sized 9" drivers... maybe). Earlier Questions:

1) Same box as SA-8 v.2 is fine.

2) ETA is still hopefully by end of January to be in stock. Once I have word they have SHIPPED I will run a short pre-order.
