First post here ok so I have 2 sundown audio x 12s I have a guy building me a box I sent him the design I got from Sundowns website he asked me what is the air space per sub I can't seem to find it anywhere any input would be great kind of a newb to this I use to think put a subs in aany box and a big amp that's all you need lol thanks for the help in advance

How much power are you putting on them? Is this a ported box or sealed? Their website does list 2.5 cubes net per 12. Sealed isn't listed because it isn't recommended. But 1.25-1.5 sealed would be fine per sub.

I have a hifonics 4k so probably around 1500-2000 rms if it does rated power and I have the electrical to handle it it's going to be ported and tuned around 32 should I just stick with the 2.5 or go a little smaller

I'm sure massive knows what he's talking about but if it were me I'd stick with 2.5. Sundown recommends it and it's at the higher end of very common 12 inch enclosures which should be ideal given the subs parameters and design.
