Let me cover one FAQ item as well for those folks that may not be familiar with what comes with the amp as far as warranty.

2 years regular / 5 years discounted replacement

Read close in the text for one thing that is pretty important to many caraudio.com members:

1) If your amplifier has a blown power supply or damage from excessive vibration there will be a charge for a warranty replacement within the 2-year policy:

 

* SAZ-1500D and smaller amplifiers (or any future model under 2000 watts) - $30 in the continental USA (AK and HI add $15)

* SAZ-2000D and SAZ-3000D (or any future model 2000 - 3000 watts) - $50 in the continental USA (AK and HI add $20)

Blow your amp up from 1/2 ohm usage (99% of the time this blows the power supply if there is a failure) ? You are not out of luck -- in fact I think 50 dollars is a pretty good deal to have a brand new amp sent to you when you were running it outside of listed specifications when repair for these large amps can run well over 200 dollars. All you have to do is keep you amp in decent physical condition to be eligible. Even if it is all beat up we will still work with you on a pro-rated scale.

5-year discount replacement plan...

So it has been 3 or 4 years and you have blown your amp... send it in and you can get another one for a good price still even though your regular 2-year warranty is up (pro rated based on condition). If the model you have is discontinued we will even offer an upgrade option to the newest model similar to what you had.

And in general... existing Sundown customers can tell you that we work REALLY hard to take care of everyone as fast as possible - even with minor questions, support, etc. Warranty turn-around is VERY fast - ask anyone that has dealt with us in the event that they did have a problem.

Anyway - the above is not worth it to everyone, but it is to hundreds of members here and on other forums //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I know that our product is not for everyone, that is fine - but we work hard to make people that do buy our products glad that they did.
