Sundown SAZ2000D or Cadence ia9

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif @ all you guys who hop on the current forum boner without rhyme, reason, or question!

Here is one for you: Which amp could you have in your hands by the end of the week?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

The "boner" term really annoys me... there is a reason why I have been around since 2006 and our amps are still a "boner" -- because the amps are good, the service is good, and people are quite happy with them.

I'd call that more than just a "boner"

I had a sundown sae-1200 and ill admit it was a tank, but it didnt impress me for the price.

I think there are better options from many other company's.

Sundown in good if you like reliability in extremely low impedance/and or high current situations where your voltage drops and you want the amps to survive.

Chances are if you can afford Sundown though, you got the voltage to back it up.

guess what? nobody but Mr. Fuller has used the saz-2000d either!
I have. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wave.gif.002382ce7d7c19757ab945cc69819de1.gif Now that I think about it, I bet Gary & I have had more time with that amp than Jacob has.

i think the whole Sundown boner thing is hilarious. It makes me giggle everytime. If Sundown's a boner then call us the Viagra of car audio. (

I have not tested the cadence, or even used one since the Z9000 ( which was a decent amp )

but judging by these specs from an authorized reseller of cadence

#

1 Ohm RMS Power: 1 x 2000 Watts

#

2 Ohm RMS Power: 1 x 1200 Watts

#

4 Ohm RMS Power: 1 x 600 Watts

#

Peak Power: 1 x 4000 Watts

#

Frequency Response: 10Hz - 500Hz

#

S/N Ratio: >100 db

#

Damping Factor: >230 @ 100Hz

#

Minimum THD:

#

Input Voltage: 200 mV - 9 Volts

#

Dimensions: 19" x 9.25" x 2.5" (LxWxH)

I'd take the SAZ over it easily

yeah i think im gonna get up in this saz2000 preorder. ALL up in it
So in less than a half hour after making your thread, you made your decision? And the only reply you got before doing so was, the Sundown amp is not out yet...... Why did you make this thread again?

I can only comment on the Cadence.

The iA9 is the same board as the AudioQue 2200d. The Cadence is a very good choice as well as the Sundown would be too.

Both amplifiers will come with great warranties, Cadence is 5 years(Jason Paul from Powermax is a great guy to deal with).

And Sundown has an excellent warranty as well as customer service.

The iA9 is a tank, I have yet to see the Sundown but if its like any other amplifier from Sundown it will be a tank aswell.

Sorry Jacob, you're a nice guy and I didn't mean to offend you. My response mainly was to deal with these kids who are recommending an amplifier that won't be available until what, June?

i didnt recommend either of them because i havent had any experince with any cadence amps. all i commented on was what ive seen/played with on the sundown amps. they are tanks, efficent, and powerhouses

the sundown and ia9 will be very similar... untill i see the actual tarnsistors used, i would say the cadence is atleast 2400rms... the actually rate the @12.5... try the zrs series,, even sicker...

ethier way excellent choices...

i wonder what the IA9 will do at 4 ohms. i wonder if it will do 1000. im also looking at the zrs3002 which is rated 1200 at 4ohms. i need 1000-1200 at 1 or 4 ohms.
