so does mine....but i am jus sayn the t3k is a power house also. but i also think the T3K is a totally different sound opposed to the saz 3kd

ya im going to run it at one ohm until i can get another btl (both dual 2 ohm version) and run it at .5 ohms

big alt with one big bat, or possible one nice big one under the hood and in the trunk. i am running at .5 with 3 optimas and a 140 amp alt

well, didn't they do tests on the saz 3k and say it didn't do much more at .5?

like Joseph was saying.....we ran both amps, the sundown and the Rf at .5ohms.

but t3k's are not made anymore either asfar as i know.

They'll make big power @ .5.

as for electrical, i suppose i would get the battery first... and possibly a smaller alternator? Assuming you just have that budget for your electrical.

4) When the amp was dropped down to 0.175 DCR with a rise to 0.82 ohms power only increased to 3450 watts. At this load we had to roll the volume to avoid protection so voltage was dropping to 11.2 volts by the time we got a reading. Efficiency dropped to around ~65 - 70% at this load

i wonder if that had something to do with an extremely subpar electrical for the test? Or the purely spl oriented setup.

they should have done something real. Like test something @ .5 nominal and 1 nominal. just swapping woofers due to vc config but do the test in the same box with the same burp frequency. Then see the power that's gained.
