AQ 2200 vs. Orion 2500D

lookin to get two 15 HDC3' s and was wondering what amp would work better, or just to stick with my current amp (TE4001D about 3800@1ohm) I wil lhave bg three done, 200amp alt and extra batt or two in back. Which is more efficient at 1ohm, do they do rated power....I see a lot of people running each of these on their AQs. I have heard one off a 2500D and the sub loved it, but i hear a lot of good things about the AQ amps. thanks for the input

why would you switch amps for less power when your current amp is a good match for the pair of subs you're buying?

i was asking myself the same question. i went with the aq2200d because it is priced very well and i have not heard any negative things about the amp. my friend had a orion hcca5000d and i didnt like it.

prolly gunna keep this one unless I can sell this for some good dough and pick up an aq or orion. won't hurt to try what i have now. I just know these subs can handle more than what the mtx puts out
