how long will the crunch do max power before going into protection, The sundown will run forever (not literal) Infact I thought I saw a comp with an IA and the sundown outlasted the IA, can the crunch hang?

Thats what im wondering. My Hifonics lasted hardly 2 months.

Fair enough, what kind of warranty when bought "gray market"? Hard to beat 2 years with a discounted price after the 2 year period. Plus you can call Jake and actually talk to the man. Not bad mouthing the Maxxsonics guys, but man 3000wrms and upwards over more than 300amps of current pull and possible no warranty....not me my friends.

I have to admit I did read a bit on the GP3000D and it showed some awesome numbers, I would like to refer you to the Sundown forum to see what kinds of numbers we get out of the 3000D from Sundown.

the only amp thats the same is the 3250.1 the crunch looks to have stuff moved on the board diff then sundown and rd, but crunch ehhhh id have to pass.

id be surpised that u couldnt strap thses together

absolutley not. You are taking that out of context, the talk in previous posts talked about the price difference hence my mention of it.

Well I found the GP3000D for $450 and the Sundown SAZ-3000D for $700 refurbished with a 1 year warranty.. I think for the resale value, quality, and customer service I will spend the extra $250 and get the Sundown...There is just SO many Crunch haters out there & I would hate to blow my new amp..

In the last two years my 20.1 has never went into protect.

What do you mean by outlasted.

exactly what you just refered to your amp is not doing. I was referingto a thread I read, in which they stressed the 2 amps to the limits, I am sure you are not maxing your amp out, or are you?
