Sundown SAZ-3000D same as Crunch GP3000D pro?

The only thing I see in common between the two amps are the asshat numbers people come up with for power output.....

sorry kids... but 'reactive output' is meaningless unless you can account for 'powerfactor'.... and what meters are even being used ???? craftsman clamps ?? LOL

With a 12volt battery set up dropping to 11.5 volts the Crunch GP3000D Pro made 2850 watts at a 1.03 ohm reactive. That's 4 12volt batteries.

and the sundown test i believe this was on a 16v setup

the crunch looks good but in my own little mind i feel that the only crunch amps worth having are the older zed models 400,600,250,50shc those were the good ones

Yeah the Sundown is sexy but the Crunch is half the price.. I dont care if its ugly and says Crunch if it puts out the power.. Im to poor to care..lol well this guy said they had the same guts.. I went back to his post and called BS on him and told him to prove it so lets see what he comes up with.. he is on SMD forum under "Nismofreak"

They are not the same boards. I didn't build the amps and I can tell you that. The GP may or may not put out as much or more than the Sundown, I don't know, I never had my hands on either amp. However the Sundown is backed with excellent customer service, a good reputation, and quality products. Just remember, you get what you paid for. The only way your going to get a "good deal" is if the item is used. Choose whatever amp fits your budget though. Its your money, spend it how you choose to.

how long will the crunch do max power before going into protection, The sundown will run forever (not literal) Infact I thought I saw a comp with an IA and the sundown outlasted the IA, can the crunch hang?
