Sundown has some of the best build quality in the buisness. I would go with them over an RF anyday.

obviously i cannot figure box rise, etc... I added 30% for the nominal impedance of the driver... it will of course depend on box, and other factors that i cannot guess at...

I like the rockfords better.. but its what i run so its a biased opinion.... both nice amps.

well they used to make a t3000. i had 1 and the birth sheet said just over 4000w rms at 14.4 volts

Sounds like a steal on the RF amps. Hopefully you have a legit source at that price point. If you have a legit source with warranty that is cheaper than you will find the SAZ-3000D.

As a note on power output... I clamped the 3000D on my test bench dropping to 10.75 volts supply and measured 3237 watts @ 1.33 ohms (actual impedance). With a more capable charging system than my test bench (50 amp power supply on two batteries) you will, of course, get more power.
