Is 1300 watts rms too much power for one of these sundown Sa 15's? They are rated at only 600rms, but I know that they are way under rated. I have two of them that will be running off a zx2500 at 2 ohms, in a ported enclosure.
thanks, yeah that'll be a challenge as I've never set an amp on my own, I'm sure i'll be back here before I go full tilt to make sure i'm not clipping or anything.Good electrical. Set your amp gains correctly and you should be fine.
I have a kenwood KDC 138, which isn't a great deak I know, but it says it does 2000mV/10kohm. so around 2 volt output. Which should be fine, the amp "prefers" a low voltage I guess. What does your HU put out? Should be fine. Just make sure it's clean power.
Are you talkin DD's? yeah I'm sure if I sent a distorted signal to them it wouldn't take long to *** something upmake sure ur amps are set properly, try it out, if they get a little smelly turn ur gain down. i know my lvl 3s cant handle that much.
Level 3's are DC, not Digital Designs. Are you talkin DD's? yeah I'm sure if I sent a distorted signal to them it wouldn't take long to *** something up
Fawk yea man, plenty of room for wires and such in the trim and engine bay. you ever have issues with your's idling down to like 350/400 rpms and staling out? mine has done this once, but it gets close quite often sitting at stop lights.thanks man, gc's are the ****, i love mine. pretty easy to install audio equipment in to.
