sundown sa 12s

Sorry for all the noobish questions. But I'm having a hard time deciding what to do. I have a jl XD 1000 and have broke it down to either 2 sundown SAs or 2 American bass TNT 12s. They're both rated at 600rms but I see tons of people running 1000 or more to just one of these subs. I'm just concerned that I would be under powering them and barely have these things moving. thoughts?

I'm looking on SSA right now and they have lethal injections(1000 watt) for 207$ and flatlyne(600 watt) for 349$....wth?
First things first, RMS isn't the end all be all to subwoofers. There are a lot of important things to take into consideration when looking at sub. The flatlyne is an underhung design and has a fairly flat BL over stroke hence the name flatlyne. As far as your two choices I would pick the SA over the TNTs. Reasons are Sundowns have a 2.5 coil (more efficient) and a shorting ring vs a 3" coil on the ABs with no shorting rings. Out of everything I would jump on the Lethal Injections and that gives you room to grow as well as some very solid drivers. To fully answer your questions we need to know how much space do you have for subs and are you able to build/get someone to build you a proper box.

I actually just orederd a pair of the sundown ev2 12s from SSA for 120 ea. I ordered them before I got yalls replies. Lol. If anything I will get another jl 1000 in the future and upgrade from there.
