Sundown SA-12 vs Orion XTR Pro

yeah nuthuggers talk crap on orion a lot but seeing one in person, they are pretty monster looking subs, not gonna lie. Especially the HCCA SPL line. Makes the NSV3 and ZV4s look like midgets. Yes i got a shop that carries them and has them side by side along with dc audio and every nutthugger brand. The HCCA SPL was the beefiest looking sub next to the DC level 6 and sundown team series subs.

Also irrelevant but kicker CVRs are a good bit beefier and heavier than the soundqubed HDS200 series... My mind is blown multiple times seeing soo many real life comparisons.

They do look beefy. But...how do they sound?

Umm no. The hhca line is bigbut not huge. They don't make other woofers look small. Just look at these two pics. Hcca just looks like a normal woofer next to mainstream woofers. They don't look huge... and yes I seen them in real life.

First pic it's a 10" hcca

Second pics is a 15" hcca and a pioneer spl 2000 next to it which is like a 25lb little woofer.

Im calling major BS on cvr vs hds200. Ive owned both and know it isnt close at all. The hds200 are almost 30lbs. The cvr is 13 lbs

theres multiple CVRs there's the b*tch @ss version and there's a beefy version. HDS200s are definitely not 30lbs more like 20lbs the hds300 is closer to 30.. Dost thou even hoist brethren?

Thats a normal HCCA. You havent seen the SPL Pro version.

Are you sure you dont mean Cvx? The newest Kicker line features a comp r and a comp vr. Neither is beefy.... I have some hds208s sitting on my floor. They are 18 lbs for the 8

I had those silver cone cvrs in like 2010. They werent beefy and they werent heavy. I swapped to Treo TSX (their 400w sub), and they were beefier.

Ive never seen a cvr that was unusually heavy
