When I first started opening it the packaging was very good, you can see the tested 7/1/09 so these are brand spanking new!

The Styrofoam was very well thought out, there is no way that any ups/fed-ex man on a mission to hurt these things could do. You take the lid-off the woofer and it is easy to grab the basket and lift the woofer out due to the design in the bottom portion of Styrofoam.

Now to the woofer!

These things are little monsters for sure!

The build quality is fantastic, the things that stood out to me were that all the glue joints were flawless! The terminals and tinsel leads were very sturdy and very beefy for a 600rms rated woofer! The powder-coated basket looks great and I would not hesitate to invert mount these babies.

This beast has tons and tons of cooling, like Jacob said it would almost never reach its thermal limits and its because of all the cooling channels that were built into it. The spiders were reasonably stiff, I would compare it to a DD3500 series (d motor) w/ better cooling in all honesty just in looking at it.

It will be about a week to get everything ready for the box and get these in my car at the very latest.

This will be your teaser //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The box is going to be 3 cubes net tuned to 30 hertz with two 4inch aeros //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif i

They will be powered by a SAZ1500d @1ohm

I should have one in the mail pretty soon to play with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

how would these compare to a Type R or an RE SE? Thanks so much.
Probably very similar if not better. Im curious to how they sound SQ wise. Maybe it would be a great temp. setup when my other stuff is in the works. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
