hey guys i got a trade offer on my sa 12 in sms box, guy is offering me his 15" mtx 9500, gonna need a new box for it though, currently has a ****** sealed box I'll use for the time being.

that's the sub and box,notsure what is on the cone.

is it worth it? assuming everything on the mtx works properly.

I don't much care for MTX, but it should be way louder. The 9500's are beefy, and 15's are almost always going to be louder than 12's. But make sure everything adds up, this seems like a bad trade for that guy so it might be blown or broken somehow.

That 15" looks like poo. If it works 100% correctly, it'll get quite loud in a ported enclosure. Mine took everything I could throw at it. I wish I still had it.

In conclusion, if the sub works properly and you don't care about looks, I would do the trade.

Beats me. Mine took burps at 1.5 easy, but that's all I had. I'm sure they'll take more, but you don't need to daily.
