You are decently accurate with that statement. DC will meter louder most of the time though.

when people meter, they build spl boxes and tune higher, so therefore its obvious the dc would meter louder. i never said otherwise, so not sure how im decently accurate with what i said.

I was talking about your ISD plotting. DC typically meter higher in most situations because they favor higher tuning over the SA.

And yes your were "decently" accurate.

Yes, I would say you are.

I said your plot was decently accurate. Meaning I don't fully agree that the magic number is 40hz. However, the general idea that DC likes higher hz levels is already widely known. So if you want to be truthful we both just repeated what has been said many times over.

If you need it, I will draw you out a map to find the answer.

u have no proof as to what the # is either, but just because u disagree doesnt mean im not accurate. (not saying i am, all i said was thats what winisd says)

from what ive read and seen, spl tuning generally is 40hz and up

Fisrt off level 3's are rated for 600 rms and you obviously do not what your doing with car audio so giving them more power would be bad for you. Secondly your 16 years old and stay on a forum all day,you must be a real loser. Your just starting to drive why are you worried about car audio? I would hate to be on the road with a snotty nose kid that's worried about his stereo and not really knowing how to drive.

I was simply using what we use in science. The "decently accurate" means we agree with the finds, but not all the facts per say. No matter how many times any of us run the numbers, it never holds true in a car. In reality we just use our best judgement and run with it.

But I'd go with SA just from what I've seen. I love my DC but with that kinda power (750 watts) and I'm assuming your going daily so you want loud at lower, you'll want the SA's.
