Yea...im wanting some thump in my car and not going to do anything massive and cant afford to drop a chunk of cash on a setup...would rather keep trying to get my car paid off asap. Girl is asking $50 on these OBO and doesnt know anything about car audio at all. Looks like they might be a bit dry rotted and possibly water damaged...iunno. Will know a bit more when I get her to take a crap load of pics of em. But for now...anyone know anything about these? What model does this look like? Ive done some digging but cant find anything...

These are 2 hours away and I actually indend on driving there Wednesday regardless on a date with this girl lol.

Yea I thought about that to...making sure what the impedance on em were...got a DMM just for that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

bottom of the line. 150 or 200 RMS i believe. Talk her down to 35. let her know they were the cheapest subs mtx made that year. and they are a decade and a half old.
actually the road thunder line was at the bottom these were a step up from that than the 5000's than the 7000's. The 3000's actually had great sq where the 5000's had good sq and spl for what they were back in the day, I had all 3 lines. But like mentioned above you may wanna check the ohms.

Figured id grab a little cheapy rockford amp or some shiz off of craigslist to power it and a cheap wallyword amp kit. Got a Sedona APA 200-ix also but the crossover fader chip thing is gone and its impossible to find one for it. Joy of a 17 year old amp!
