So as a first time box builder, I think I did pretty good, just got a question on what would be the best way to brace this box. I think my current piece looks completely retarded but once again its my first time. Need some ideas from you guys.

I've metered better the other way myself. If it's for music the difference will be inaudible anyway if he's trying to meter center console is terrible anyway and he would need to test all options.

Anyway, bracing in the pic looks good but might want to add another stick each side to side. You won't go wrong with too much bracing but too little could translate into poor performance.
