Okay. I've got a few other people input and am curious how hard it is to build a mixed sub, what parts from either I should get, and how I go about building it.

That still doesn't answer my db question or where I can get parts/what is recommended to build a frankenstein sub from the two that would give me the best/loudest sub possible.

I really wanna buy one brand new. Its a thing I have. I don't like buying things used. I like my warranty. lol. What roughly in a sealed box do they hit DB wise? is high 140's about right on 2000 watts?

Nothing is guaranteed, but that is not really practical....

If I could pull 155+db's off one 18 i would, but the odds of that are ummm pretty much none. So im aiming for super high 140's or low 150's.

If you build a burp box the high 40's would be about right, but it would not be musical at all.
