sundown help for a old man

ok guys im pretty old school and have been that way for some time old usamps,zed amps,lpamps so i keep reading on the 1500 and it looks to be a nice trouble free amp but my ? is right now in my wife escape we are running 2 mtx 7500s off of a mtx te601 so about 600 watts at a 2 ohm load if i were to replace the 601 with a 1500 from sundown and keep it at a 2 ohm load do u guys think it will sound much better more powerful thanks for your time

agreed, Sundowns are wonderful, troublefree amps and you cant beat the customer service. Underrated, and overbuilt, the amps are **** near perfect.

I dont know if it will be a substantial difference , but it will be noticeable. Prolly more punchy

What kind of box do you have in the escape? A cheap fix if the box is pre-fab would be to build your own box.

their in about 3 cubes shared sealed right now i could probly build a little bit bigger ported box but then im going to hear the nag nag naggin about no space left so a new box for now is out lmao

I would say yes on the amp. Go for it and if you ever plan to upgrade in the future too it will be great for ya.
