It can handle the power, but make the box smaller. my dual 8 box is 1.4cu.ft. net ported

.6 cubes ported will be perfect. any bigger on that power and you are just going to bottom the sub out and possibly damage the coil and suspension. if you go sealed you should stick to .4 cubes max but the spec is for .28 cubes.
