Alright I added a relay and ran new wires to the subs from the amps and I still have the issue. Voltage is in steady mid 13s when it goes into protect. I also put in new RCAs linking the 2 amps, that didn't help either. Could it be a thermal issue? They seem to play longer at night time (cooler) and shorter at day time (warmer). But if this was the case, wouldn't the other amps go into protect as well? I checked all 3 after playing for 15-20 minutes in the heat today and they were extremely hot but only the slave amp goes into protect. I have also switched the master and the slave amps and each time the slave amp is the one that goes into protect.
I believe I have my subs wired right. Each sub is 1 ohm dvc and I have a + to - on each sub and then the positives from each sub going to the master amp and the negatives of each sub going to the slave amp. And 10 gauge wire connecting the 2 negatives of the amps. Any help is very appreciated.
