That is almost a perfect box for a pair. You can tune a little lower if youd like as well. These are good in the high 30hz range.

if the amp was putting out a true 3000 watts you could use 15 safely but to make an even 1ohm load you could go with 16.

I just bought a Sundown3000 today, and I can figure out what sub(s) I want to use it with. I don't think I have the room to run 16 ported though, lol.
