lol after looking over everything now I am gonna get 2 of these bad boys. everyone i have asked about some sa 12s have said nothing but good things. Now I just need to decide on an amp I think I might start off with either a aq2200 or a saz 1200 or 1500 I am pretty firm on what amp I am gonna use but any insight is welcome

well correct me if I am wrong but an aq @ 14.4 volts will push 2200w which would be around 1100 watts pr speaker correct?

So, I am about to order my sa 12's and get my box design.... looking forward to this. What is the best way to determine what electrical stuff I will need to update to figure out what I can hook up with out destryong my car lol. Like is there a mathmatical way to figure out what my stock electrical system can handle?

What i've been tought is 90amps to every 1000RMS is safe. Every cars factory system is diffrent. Big 3 can add 300RMS from my personal experiance(maybe more but I dont know for sure) but if you go HO altenator, its a must cause the stock 8 gage will only handle so much amperage. I havent done a add-on battery yet so I dont know about that.
