sundown amps vs. memphis amps for SQ

for my setup ill need 3k continuous true power (3 fi q 12's), im in between 3 memphis pr 1.1000's or 1 sundown 3000D, i had a fi q 18 running off a pr 1.1000 last year and i havent beat the sq of that combo yet, which amp should i do?

Although both companies build phenominal amplifiers, i would go with the 3000D. three PR's is not only more of a setup nightmare, but consumes a lot more space as well

However, the amplifier has very, very little to do with the "SQ" you are looking for. That is 95% install dependent, in terms of driver firing direction, type of vehicle, box style and tuning..... the list goes on.

So, dont think one or the other is going to be the deciding factor in your install

Amps actually have alot to do with SQ, have run quiet, no turn on clicks, cant be noisy, dynamic, etc

I have NEVER used a sundown amps (Although I want one or two lol) so I wont say anything + or - about them

What I can say is Memphis makes very true, clean and efficient power

One product (Sundown) has excellent customer service/support and generally does not care if you purchased the amplifier second hand. The other company (Memphis) will only deal with you if you purchased their product from an authorized dealer and pretty much tell you to get lost if you purchased their product online/second hand/or anything else they deem "unauthorized" that particular day.
