Sundown actual output?

I get the impression from posts here that sundown amps put out at least rated power. Are they to the point that they are underrated?

Like what have the 1000d's been benched at for 1ohm? Anyone know?

i think around 1100-1200rms.

depending on voltage they are under rated by quite a bit

Check out the SSA forums they got tons of testing on there amps. Low voltage high voltage strapped test everything!

Thanks for the fast reply guys! I'm in that shady area on stock electrical where I want a little more than 1000 but not necessarily 1500.

the 1000d would be a good choice then.

Yeah, thinking of the 1000d, nine.1, or something like that. Awesome bang for the buck on the prices of used and refurbs.

Keep in mind though, the SAE series will not be as underrated at the SAZ series.

Are SAZ series 1500 and up, or is there a newer generation SAZ-1000d? All I see is SAE-1000D's.

There is no SAZ 1000D. The SAE-1000D will be perfect for your needs -- actual output is around 1100 wrms.
