Sundown: 2 x e12d2 or 1 x sa12d4

The title pretty much says it. I'm building a system for my new to me car, and was curious how these compare. I'm looking for medium loud with good sq. SQ is more important these days, but I'd like to be able to bump from time to time too.

How do the e- series compare in terms of sq? Is the sa really as loud as everyone claims? Is a single sa12 as loud as 2 of the main brand 12s (JL, MTX, Pioneer...).

Either way, I plan on going with a Hifonics X1100.1D. 1000@1ohm for the e's or 700@2ohm for the sa.

How will you wire two E12D2 to 1 ohm?
