ok but....im just saying that if they used less heating would be less of a problem (not saying that my sundown does, because sundown is amazing!)

The excess glue isn't going to cause anymore of a heat issue than other mounting practices. The heat primarily comes from the fets which are bolted to the heatsink with a thermal compound sandwiched between.
