You can do what ever you like with it, but it will sound like crap. either you will have only rear and front or left and right. so you ability to balance the system is extremely limited.

To answer you question yes, you could run them in Parallel and run the amp a 2ohms/ch. and it would be fine, but I personally wouldn't!
