Sundown 100.2 vs DD SS3

I had all my speakers runnin on a 100.2. I switched in a SS3 and now its not getting as loud. I would understand if it was a piece of **** amp I switched in(doesnt do rated power type of thing) but Im stumped. Anyone wanna fill me in?

Sounds strange. That SS3 can produce quite a bit more power than the sax100.2.

Double check your crossover settings. If you are using the DD passive crossovers, make sure you LPF is off. HPF can be on, but set it very low. Possibly turn it off and just used your Hu's HPF.

Also, how closely did you set the gain based on the clip-light? If you are only slightly letting it blink, you are robbing yourself of alot of power.

Well I only have it turned up halfway, havent even seen the clip light come on.
