Sun audio saz2500

What's funny about $515? Is that too much?
In my personal opinion I think it's a little high, though certainly not unheard, especially in the Sundown world. But the dude said he wanted a good price, so I'm sure that's gonna be a ways out of his league. I've been seeing 1000s go for around $200 lately... figure another 1.5kW of power, double the price, that's still only $400. I'd consider that to be a pretty good deal then. Like I said, not unheard of at all, but not on the cheap side either.

I have a saz-2500d I have been looking to sell and have watched the classifieds to gauge the market the last few months and they hover around 500 shipped. I would venture as long as it is in good shape, that price is fair. You can get 2.5k for 400 bucks but it probably isn't gonna be a sundown. The 2500d is my favorite of Jacobs amps that I have used.

This, $515 shipped is a fair price for them. Cheapest I've seen otf was maybe $20 less, and the average is closer to $550. (they're $815 new from SSA)
Meh, guess I'm just crazy then. I could never justify paying that much for 2.5k, I am pleased with my sub from them though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Meh (again), the more and more I think about it... the amp prolly puts out closer to 3kW... on top of that it's **** near bullet-proof, .5 ohm "stable" and 16v capable too yes? So when you factor all that in, $500 aint too shabby at all.

Hopefully I'll be happy with my last purchase 2000 watt @1ohm mono and a 125x4 at 4 ohm amp. (350+ ship for the pair).

But back on topic, Good luck with the search OP, and consider our ramblings free bumps.

If you compare it other amps in it's "league," it's actually cheaper. D5, Cactus pf600, DD m3a, and Lord have mercy the $1,500+ Treo 4.1.

I actually clamped more out of the Sundown than the D5 at higher loads.
