Hey everyone, I'm looking for an amp to power my dual 4ohm Type-R. I'm looking for 500w-600w and haven't kept up with car audio since high school two years ago. So far i've found:

-Alpine M650: 600W rms x 1 @ 2ohm (ideal amp, but the very top of my budget)

-Kenwood KAC-8152D: 550W rms x 1 @ 2ohm (any ideas on this amp, my last amp was a kenwood KAC-7201 which I had no complaints over)

-Kenwood KAC-9102D: 850W rms x 1 @ 2ohm (probably too much power, and I'm pretty sure I would need a cap, which wasn't in my budget atm)

Anybody here have any suggestions/comments about these amps, or know of any that would work well with a type-r?

Thanks everyone, any input would be greatly appreciated

-Kevin

kicker zx400.1, MTX TA3401, polk ca500.1, if looking cheaper the bazooka ba1500 would work as well. you do not need a cap. for any of these amps or for any amp for that matter. bigger battery, alternator, or big 3 upgrade, but no cap. the 1st two battery or alternator not with a single amp setup
