Suggestions Please

Looking for suggestions on a preloaded sub for a Focus hatch. I would like mostly SQ, but would occasionally like to push it a bit. Trying to get something for my current amp. The amp is an Infinity Ref 1300; 350w/ch RMS at 2 Ohms {IIRC.} I am replacing a sealed 2 by 10 with {bottom of the line} Polk 10's. Budget... $400-500

More information if needed:

Factory head unit feeding LOC's. Old school Pioneer 4 x 60 amp into Kicker 6x8's in the doors and no-name tweeters in the dash.

Future upgrades:

A head unit of course. I have yet to find one that I like but am flirting with the idea of a carputer.

New {real} components for the front stage. Probably Focal Polyglass.

Why go preloaded? You can buy a decent set of subs and still have funds for a custom built box or you can buy a design and build one yourself. These would give better results then what you are looking at don't now. You have remember, the enclosure means just as much if not more then the sub when considering sound reproduced by a subwoofer.

Thanks to Cruzer for the links. I like the SSA, but still would like to explore my options. If I still want to go with a pair of tens, I'll just pick up another Infinity amp. They are cheap enough.

Pro-Rabbit. I have built a few boxes over the years. Lately I've been lazy enough to ask about preloaded enclosures.

even a $50 sony sub can sound pretty dang good in the right box, where as the best sub in the world can sound like azz in the wrong box...

it is fact not just opinion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I would rather have a low end sub in a good enclosure than a great sub in a crappy 1 lol
