My kid wants a new hard drive for his ps3 for Christmas. From my research it looks like a 2.5" 9.5 mm sata laptop hard drive is what I need. Probably going to go with 3.0Gb/s and 7200 rpm, from what I have read it wont improve performance much, but I figure any little bit. Looking at something 500gb or bigger, will probably order it from newegg unless someone can give me someplace better and would like to keep it around $100. Does anyone have suggestions on what to go with?
The gaming lounge didn't really look like the right place to put this so I will try here.
