Suggestions on Components for my Audio overhaul

Hello all,

I'm going to redo the audio in my 2014 Ford F-150 Screw STX. Its stock everything right now.

Below is a screen-shot of my shopping list. I'd really like to go Component up front, and I was sold on the Kappa's in my list, but after doing some research there aren't any fitment template adapters out there that will work, the speaker is simply too small. My speakers openings are for 6x8s. The coax Infinity Kappa's in my cart fit without and adapter (note, the picture on that listing is incorrect).

I will be custom fitting the tweeter regardless of which component I decide to use, I have the perfect spot for it. But, I don't know if I want to spend the time making my own adapters to fit the Infinity Kappa 60.11s. This will be my first time installing anything other than a head unit (well, I did install an amp once in a Honda Pilot).

Can you recommend any Components around the 6.75 range that will fit the adapters available? This will be a sub-less install. I'm not looking for anything "punchy" but I would prefer something that will cover good range and provide a warm enveloping sound. I'm a bit sensitive to tinny & excessively sparkly speakers, fwiw, so I shy away from that type.

Thanks!

Yeah, with such a big truck and lots of Kids around, I need a screen for the backup cam.

I could care less about the dvd or anything else a screen affords, God nav, hd radio, xm radio, etc...already have Bluetooth calling.

What size screen do you have in the dash? Is it a full color LCD or just the text readout?

Mclerico83, you may be able to answer this.

I purchased that amp you recommended. I'm a little suspicious that it might be bad. I'm getting noticeable whine/humming when the engine is on. My rca cables are on the opposite side of my car than battery cables. When I switch the rear or front pass filter from HI to LO, the whine/hum disappears.

Any ideas? I'm a bit at a loss.

Alternator whine caused by 1 of 2 things. Grounds bad or gains to high.

Perfect, that was my next question. I have spliced 3/4 different items to the ground coming out of my wiring harness. Can you overload one line if the gauge is too small?

I could easily ground those separately behind the dash.

FWIW, that was my amp ground.
