Suggestions in a SUV AMP and Woofer

I've got around $500 to spend on an amp and some subs. I'm thinking about two 12"s, two 15"s would be great but probably out of price range.. I'd like to stick to the more well known brands. I listen to mostly rap and lean more towards SPL than SQ. Probably SPL 60% to SQ 40%. I'd be putting the system in a 2001 Pathfinder. My headunit is a Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD. I've looked at endless subwoofers and amps on here, but it's all so much and can't narrow my choices down. What would you suggest?

RL-p's would be nice, but I think they will put you over your budget. Maybe look into some R's with a nice 1100+ amp.

That would leave you $300-ish for your amp. You have the room, so go with a ported box.

Sounds like some good deals, but thing is, I'd be getting them half off, so I was looking to buy new.

What does everyone think about some new Rockfords? like 2 12's with an amp for under $500?

There is a ton out there for ya. Are you buying off the Net or Local, and if buying local whats avalible to you. The Rockford amps are solid little soilders but the sub have reliability issues.

yeah Ive found that one out...
