suggestions for TWO 15" KICKER L7's

now, all i know right now, is that he has a durango - 2 L715's - and wants a ported box.

from the looks of it, he wants a street beater. i think im going to try a CRX style box.

i dont know how many cubes i can stuff in the back, or whats optimal. but i was looking around 10cubes @ 33~35hz in winISD and from 30hz~100hz it was all over 0db... and i was like //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

WinISD blows as far as transfer function is concerned...

really its all i got. even if its wrong. it can be THAT wrong.

i really dont know how much airspace and port area two 15's would want. just need some figures.

I have 1 15" L7 in my durango. Its in a 6.45 box tuned to like 30hz. It hits pretty **** hard. the dimentions on the cargo area in a durango are: 17 high (to the window lines) x 44 wide x 30 deep i think. you have plenty of room to work with. my RE SX box is 9 cubes with plenty of room to spare.

ok, turns out he has kicker L5's.

looks like they are in 2~3 cubes sealed. the face of the box has gotta be like 1" bigger on all sides, and maybe 10~15" deep. not very big for those suckers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

yea i think bbp6 uses a forumlula to calculate the port air velocity. so its probably pretty accurate.

Box for my RE's is 8.9ft^3 with 150 sq. inches of port tuned to 33hz
