Suggestions for head unit and components please

Currently running a well-used and partially broken Cadence h/u with components that need replacing. I'm also running an alpine pdx-5, 12" cadence dvc in ported box. Have had some problems when visiting local shops for head units as most car audio companies have gone with more options (bluetooth, ipod capatible, etc) over sound quality, even alpine has reduced quality of some of their products, so I'm def buying online.

All I want is SQ/SPL, and I will be playing cds or radio only, might buy an ipod in the future... My setup is below, and I would appreciate any suggestions for:

- a high quality head unit (4v or 5v preouts) under $250

- loud components under $400
