Everyone on here hates it, 99% of them have never tried it. For the price, I use it a lot. I used it in my cadillac and gained a TON, close to 3dB when all was said and done. I was putting up close to 150~ and had ZERO flex. With the windows up, you couldn't here my car from 100ft~ away. Before FatMat, you could here me blocks away. I got 300sq.ft. for about $250~ back then. Had it on for 3 years before I got rid of the car, -20* and colder in the winter, 100*f + in the summer.

heres my 147~ run on music... 3 layers in the trunk, one layer on each door, one layer on the roof, 2-3 layers on the floor, single layer pretty much everywhere else. put up a 149~ after I cranked the gains and played a 42hz tone. That song (go to sleep) was around 38-40 hz I believe...

oh yeah, and 3 layers on the license plates. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i put 2 layers in my xcab d50....did it for my audio but never got around to installing anything. its a 2.6 with header, no cat and a dumped flowmaster under the cab and before the fatmat it resonated really bad and there was a good ammount of road noise. after the 2 layers of fatmat and i stuffed the entire extra cab cabside with poly fill and it cut down alot of the exhuast and road noise. i plan on using it in my single cab mighty max....imo its easy to work with and i like it

You dont have to heat it up if you do it when its 70 degrees. I did mine and heated it all up and mashed it down just for good measure. But i hit 157s and it sticks good

I seen that also on ebay,I have not heard anybody talking about using this, what can you compare this to? and how easy is it to work with?
Its easy to work with. Going by the books it is 66% as thick as dynamat and half the price. so you get alot more when you double layer for the same price. i bought 100^ft on ebay and it went a LONG ways

I did it outside in October, it was probably 65*~ and it was easy to work with. Main thing (as with ANY deadener) is to be sure you clean the surface really good before you try to lay it down.

seeing you live in oklahoma where I Know it gets hot and it sticks I should have no trouble with it falling off when it gets hot in the summer thanks man for the insight. I`ll be grabbing me some soon.

ya.. it probly gets 130 in my truck anyhow and I havent had any problems on the back wall I know. i have tookaout and re installed about 3 diff boxes but I have not taken my headliner down since I done it.. but If you take the time and use the roller and smash it down real fgood which is what I did it will never fall off
