Suggestions for a single cab install...

I used to have 2 12" CVRs being pushed by a Planet Audio amp at 1ohm. Each sub was getting 500w. They were in about a .70 box each. I have room for a box thats is about 2.6 cubes before sub/port displacement. I bought an FI BL 12 but had to sell it due to financial issues. Im back on my feet again and want to get another system. I want something that will hit harder than the CVRs and sound better. I would like to get 2 12s sealed in there but Im open to 1 12 ported too. What suggestions do yall have on a sub? I have about $300 to spend on the subs.
