Suggestions for a good HU

Here is my system right now:

Alpine Type X's Component Set 6.5(front)

Alpine Type R's Coaxials 5.25 (rear)

Alpine PDX 4.100 powering the two speakers

JL W3v310 (10in) Enclosed

Alpine PDX 2.150 powering the sub

I was thinking about getting the Pioneer Premier DEH-700BT, but then I realized its only got a 3 band EQ while its slightly less expensive sibling DEH-600UB has a 5 band EQ. How big or small of a difference in SQ is there between the two? Currently the speakers are being driven by the Stock HU and the highs are a little bit too loud. Would I be able to tweak the highs coming from the tweeters with these headunits?

Way not just go for the DEH-p800 or find yourself a nice used Eclipse CD8053(hint)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Honestly you have some very nice products in your setup. Is BT and MP3 play back important to you? Setup up to a headunit that can do it all for you and well give you SQ and other two on you list can't match.

Hmm, I was just thinking that maybe I should go with another HU. I can sacrifice the BT functionality, but the Ipod connectivity is something I cannot do without. I'd also like to be able to control the music playing from the Ipod itself and not the HU since I listen to a lot of spanish/latin music which titles might not render on the HU itself.
