Just a comment for a fellow mazda6'er, I have an AP15001d and an SAX125.2 off a optima red top group 35, with big 3 wiring.
No dimming on lights. Just a heads up on the electrical, do the big 3 a get a nice battery, you should be able to support some nice woofers with those.

does your car has a trunk or is it a hatch? Mine is a hatch and gets very loud with 2 13W7s, in my customer ported box. I have some nice box designs if you are using a hatch that might interest you, PM if you want them.

I have the four door so it's going in the trunk. But, definetly doing the big 3 and another battery.

I went to my local diamond audio dealer today for a listen and wasn't that impressed. They sound nice just not for me. I told the dealer i was leaning towared audioque and he started laughing and had me follow him out into his shop where i met two team AQ guys doing a new build. Those guys were freaking crazy running 4k pow to 1k subs, but it apparently works for them as they had two championship titles between them. Can't remem what title unfortunately.

Anyway after chatting with them I'm pretty set on AQ. It's a shame the sdc2.5 12's are outa stock or I'd order them right now. Or find some dirt cheap HDC3.

If i get the sdc2.5 I'll prolly go with an aq1200d as it seems the sdc2.5 don't overpower nearly as well as the hdc3. But maybe an mb quart 1500d or ap15001d.
