suggestion on midrange

im fiberglassing a tweeter and a 2"-3" midrange (haven't made a decision as to what would sound better) into the A-pillers in my truck. throw me some suggestions or things to look for. like wtf is qts/qms/qes/cms/BL????

P.S. im looking cosmetically for black and circular for ease of installation.

as well as needing an amp for the 4 speakers (maybe crossovers too?)... my budget for speakers +amp + xovers is less than 250... I want high quality LOUD low distortion at high volume stuff... I ALWAYS listen to my system blasted

The CDT ES-02/bl or HD-2/bl would be my best suggestions. I recommend a 1 kHz crossover for the best power handling. I've powered my ES-02s with up to 145W RMS using a 1 kHz 24 dB/octave high pass filter and they never complained. $100 for a pair of HD-2s or $120 for ES-02, both with black housings, price goes up when I'm sold out of these. Between the two, go with ES-02 if you want a smoother, warmer sound.
