My JL 12w6v2 has wiring terminals different from other subwoofers i've handled. I have it matched up with a JL 500/1 amp after hearing that combination was one of the best.

What wiring setup do you reccomend I used for this setup? And what is the difference between the spring terminals and the slide terminals on the sub?

Wire them at 2 ohms.

If you are talking for the little "jumpers".....they are to wire the coils (series or parallel), and the spring terminals are to wire them to the amp.

They come wired at 2 ohms from the factory, with that you should be good to go.
