Suggest some good 15" s?

not exactly fixed... Many subs can be ported in smaller enclosures. You do not need a stupidly large box to have a properly ported box. 2 12s can be ported in 3ft3 depending on what they are just like a single 15 would work fine in that space as well.

It depends on many things..mainly what subs he runs and if the space is before or after displacements.

I have the space. I'm in a CUV. I just wanted to conserve space. So I can go a bit bigger, but I want the box to remain short enough to still be covered by the cargo cover, and still have cargo room. And power wise, my concerns were that I just didn't want to exceed the power output my car could safely handle. I will also be running another Amp to supply power to the component sets. I am planning on doing the "big 3" upgrade, along with having my alternator beefed up, and a second battery added to a hidden compartment in the cabin. All that being said, how much total power output would you say it could handle on the safe side?

Heres, the amount of space I have to work with:

If you want to talk in the general terms you are using, no, 3 cubes net is usually not enough space for 1 15 or 2 12's ported.

Ok, I've decided to wait until someone gets there hands on a production model of the SA 15 and can give a review. At that point I may just **** up the extra space, and go with 2.5 ft^3 for each one sealed as manufacturer specs suggest.

I hear a lot of people say the SA's are under rated. I was curious what kind of power you guys typically supply to say your SA 12's? Have you noticed any adverse effects when running higher than suggested RMS wattage, or even when under powering them?

Not even a loss in sound quality from it being able to improperly power the speaker? I didnt necessarily mean damage, just loss of sound quality. But thanks for the response.
'Underpowering', as its being used in this context, is no different than having the properly sized amplifier but never turning your volume up all the way. The only adverse effect here is a loss of output potential. Think about it, when you turn the volume down on your stereo, does the 'sound quality' decrease? Or just the output? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Just stick around here a while before you make your purchase, we'll get you headed in the right firection.

Good point. No the sound quality doesn't decrease, just the happiness in my ears. lol
