The AlumQ's are Audiobahn's supposed "SQ" subs...

They sound actually pretty good, but, as I've said many times, they are EXTREMELY picky with their enclosure...

Sound average, can get decently loud, but I wouldn't spend my hard earned money on them.

Stuck on Audiobahn? There are lots of 12 inch subs out there from other companies that will blow the hell outta Audiobahns subs. Although, audiobahn are good subs, for what they are. You just have to know what you are doing. Cough cough Loneranger cough cough..

what he means is that loneranger built a huge, awesome ported box and got some very respectable numbers out of it in his ford ranger.

I'd say go to a different brand if you're looking for sq, though. I really don't like the sq in audiobahns.

well... whatever floats your boat, I guess, but you aren't gonna find many subs that look good and are based on sq. Many drivers look not too great but sound very good. For instance, Brahmas are pretty ugly, but they sound good. Shivas are also ugly as sin, but have very good sq. You just have to decide whether you want sq or looks more.

correction: you aren't going to find many *chrome* subs that sound good. there are subs that look and sound good.
