Subwoofer wiring

I have a Rockford Fosgate T1000-1bdCP that i wanted to hook up to Rockford Fosgate P3L-2X12 2000W Max, Dual 12" Punch P3 Series and i was wondering if

Rockford Fosgate RFK4

4 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit (Power Only, No RCAs)

would be ok?

i believe it says (600watts)

im worried that it wont be enough

That amp requires a 150a fuse. None of the kits u listed come with one. The RF comes with a 60a and the kicker comes with a 100a. If it was my amp I would run 1/0awg wire but u can get by with 4awg.

Get this just make sure to select the 150a fuse Copper Clad Aluminum and you will need a pair of rca's and u will be set to go. Rca's - http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KLA-5M-BK . i paid 5.00 less for a kit by rockford for rockford products and it wont work? by the way it comes with a 100a fuse. not 60

You'll be fine, fuses take a lot to blow.

that install kit is only 100A fuse and i need a 150A? thats my concern if it will be enough power...

Then buy a seperate 150a fuse. That wire should be rated for up to 150amps. Even with a 100a fuse everything should be ok but I say why chance it the manf says 150a fuse for a reason.

If you don't want to spend 5,6,7 bucks on one, there are cheaperz out there. Like 1.99.

ok then i would need a new fuse holder for the 150a, if i just use those wires. cant seem to find a maxi 150a fuse holder

Get an ANL. It'll be easier trust me. The bigger the fuse holder, the easier to work with. I hate small fuse holders.

Did not know it was a mini anl here is a 150a fuse that will fit ur holder and its only a $1.49 - http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=MANL-150A

Should have got this - http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KFX-PK20 But its to late now. What u got is fine buy the $2 fuse and have fun.

i guess im going to buy an ANL Fuse holder and 150A fuse and just use the 4awg kit. thanks for the tips guys
