Subwoofer wiring config question??

Ok I have a mono amp and two 2ohm dvc subs.

in order to get a 1 ohm load i would have to connect one wire from the amp +, to one of the subs + vc, then the amp - to the subs other vc -. then repeat on the second sub?

so each vc would have one wire going to it correct?

and does it matter which vc is - or +?

and, is it bad to bridge a monoamp to 2 subs?

would that get me a 1ohm load to the amp? thanks.

You can't get a 1ohm load with DVC 2ohm subs, you'd need DVC 4ohm subs.

Wire them to 2ohm.

connect the coils in series (4ohms each sub then) then wire the subs in parallel(2 ohm load)

look for the DCR on the subs to find out what the coils REALLY are.

No coil is exactly 2 ohm....some are higher some are lower.

that amp no workey at .5. Go with the 2 ohm until you change either the subs or the amp.
