ok some people say when theyre trunk is open, they hear more bass. when i open mine, its completely flat. no bass at all.. when i move to the front of the car, i can hear the bass, but when im looking at the subwoofer it just sounds like air moving. also when i face the sub into the car, its the same thing, no bass just air. did i tune it wrong? or is that how some setups are? i have my back seats down, and the sub facing the back of the trunk. if i put my seats up and had the subs firing into the cabin would it be better, or would the sound get muffled by the seat?

because the bass waves need to reflect off things, or at least i think thats why im kinda baked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

my wife just went to her mothers house to pickup a bag. i needed it. dont have cable, missed the superbowl //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

wtf leave the subs firing back towards the trunk lid and keep the trunk closed. i dont understand the problem. do you ride around with the trunk open or somthin. why are you listening to your system with the trunk open anyways

Despite what people tell you, just fiddle with it until you find what is right.

I took my seats out and face mine forward (check sig link for pics). Although it might not be the best for any other application, but mine it works good because I have holes in my trunk and all the sound goes out those if I have them facing backwards.

it would probably sound ok and have less rattles if you put your seats down and faced the subs toward the windshield and sealed around the box so no sound can get back into the trunk
